In swimming I am in the seals group. I am actually in the seals group which is the next group up. We do the same as the advanced dolphins but faster and further. When I jumped in the pool the water felt refreshing. The water was smooth and chilly. The water was like a fast and smooth track. The water looked and felt like smooth waves. Something I did well was backstroke I am working on doing a standard dive

On the 22nd of February on Wednesday Room 6 went to the Clive River to go on the Waka. When the parents who was going to drive room 6 to the Waka arrived, Naomi’s Granny took, Me Coral and Naomi. We walked to the carpark and jumped into the car.Naomi’s Granny drove us there. When we got there Mrs Wilburn told room 6 to sit up on the grass so the seniors could get through us without tripping over us.Yay it was finally our turn. The man who who was talking to room 6 about weapons and some places asked us to go get our life jackets. After we had put our life jackets on the man showed room 6 how to hold our Hoi.Then we hopped onto the Waka boat.Me, Lily and Heather hoped into one seat together.Lily and Heather started off by rowing we had brung our hats but Mrs Wilburn didn't want them flying off our heads and into the dirty water. When we got to the bridge Lily swapped her Hoi with me and I had a turn of rowing. The man at the front kept shouting out words to keep your paddle up or down.It was rocky and interesting.Room 6 finally finished our Waka trip.I felt tired. That was fun!

In writing we are learning to write recounts.
Something I did well was using interesting details.
Something I need to work on is finishing my recount with a sentence about how I felt
